MITCHELL – Helen Jeanne Lynch, 84, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her home.

Born May 13, 1936, in Tunnelton, she was the daughter of Homer and Lucille (Flinn) Mayden.  She married Harry Fredrick “Fred” Lynch May 9, 1958, and he preceded her in death September 28, 2017.

Helen was a homemaker.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a deaconess for many years.  Helen loved going to her grandson’s sporting events, reading and crossword puzzles.  She excelled in making Christmas candy and cookies.  Helen graduated from Mitchell High School in 1954.

Her parents; husband; and sisters, Evelyn Holler, Becky Stone, Treva Baker, and Katie Deckard,  preceded her in death.

A family graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 23, at Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Dave Mikulsky officiating.

    Susan I’m so sorry for your loss, but thank God we know she’s rejoicing with our Lord and Savior and back with your Dad! It’s bitter sweet even though you’ll miss her, you know she has a new body and rejoicing. We will see her again! Our families have known each other for a long time so we love you all and praying.
