BROWNSTOWN Hugh Phillip Allen, 64, Brownstown, formerly of Mitchell and Florida, passed away at 5:36 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Born October 25, 1944, in Mitchell, he was the son of Ray F. and Louise (Brim) Allen, Sr.
He was a mechanic at Grant’s Body Shop.
Phillip was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, at Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
