CAMPBELLSBURG Irma U. Marshall, 94, Campbellsburg, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Heritage House, Salem.

Born July 4, 1910, in Washington County, she was the daughter of William C. and Comileete (Cornwell) Bennett. She married Albert A. Marshall September 8, 1928, and he preceded her in death August 3, 1963.

She had been employed at TravLer Corporation, Smith Cabinet, and Hoosier Uplands.

She graduated in 1928 from Campbellsburg High School. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Christopher Harrison Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Campbellsburg Rebekah Lodge, Salem Order of Eastern Star No. 286, Womens Study Club, Red Hat Society, and was a Democrat Precinct Committee Chairman.

Mary Alice Morris and husband, Ernie, Salem

5 great grandchildren

Her parents; husband; and a brother, Arthur Herman Bennett, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at Mt. Carmel Christian Church, north of Campbellsburg, with Bro. Don Allen and Rev. Paul Martin officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home, Mitchell, and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the church.
