MITCHELL – Jack J. Middleton, 91, passed away Saturday, October 19, at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.  

Born November 17, 1927, in Noblesville, he was the son of John Eddie and Edna (Cornwell) Middleton.  He married Trilbia Flora in 1950.

Jack retired from General Motors and enjoyed watching NASCAR, IU Basketball and being outdoors.  He graduated from Paoli High School in 1947 and was a member of Mitchell Presbyterian Church.  Jack was a U. S. Army veteran.

Kelsey Middleton of Ellettsville
several nieces and nephews

His parents and siblings, Edna Skorupski, Doris Webb, Harley Middleton, Lloyd Middleton, and Jim Middleton preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Lee Hupp officiating.   Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

    I remember, as a child, going to Jack & Tib's house every year for Thanksgiving. It was such a great time. It was always a fun day filled with great food and love with the whole family around.
