MITCHELL James Allen Troxel, 68, Mitchell, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at his residence.
Born March 3, 1940, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Sudie (Smith) Troxel. He married Betty A. Martin September 10, 1966, and she preceded him in death August 10, 1998.
He retired from Englewood Cut Stone and was a member of the Salvation Army. He was a veteran of the Indiana National Guard and loved the outdoors.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, at Mitchell Cemetery with Rev. Lowell Keith officiating.
