MITCHELL James Leroy Leatherman, 87, Mitchell passed away at 8:13 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 8, 1922, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Delbert and Nellie (Moore) Leatherman. He married Jeanette Fullen December 22, 1944.
He retired from Lehigh Cement Company with 35 years of service.
Jim was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

His parents; brothers, Carl, Harold, and Kenneth Leatherman; and sisters, Lois Reardon, Jenny Garrison, and Mary Mundy, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Lawrenceport Cemetery with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
