MITCHELL – Jamie Lee Asbury, 58, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at his residence.

Born July 30, 1962, in Bedford, he was the son of Vernon Wayne and Carolyn (Graves) Asbury, Sr.

Jamie assisted his father as a handyman for many years and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and NASCAR.

    Guys & gals, so sorry for this loss. After seeing Carolyn/mom at Ruler Sunday just brought back SUPER good times. When i worked at Crawford Morris and brought lumber to places soo far out in the middle of NOWHERE and fine Vernon Sr. ,Jr., and Jamie working sun up to sun down! WE all made up for it at Coop's! I remember rating parties from how soon Jamie took a nap! He is now with his dad. He will be much better now! Plus, he will be greeted by Cully, Rick, and the rest of the AB crew! Once again, i can PRPOUDLY say i have partied with the BEST! Prayers for all of you.
