PAOLI – Jason Andrew Phillips, 32, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Paoli Health and Living.
Born July 23, 1990, in Heidelberg, Germany, he was the son of Timothy Chester Phillips and Sheila Gail (Simmons) Blanton.
Jason was a U.S. Army veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He graduated from Paoli High School in 2009 and was a student at Vincennes University. He was member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8302 in Paoli. He also enjoyed listening to music and watching movies.
Survivors include his father, Timothy Chester Phillips of Paoli; brothers, Timothy Justin Phillips of Arcata, California and Trey Donovan Blanton of Bedford; step-father; Scot Blanton of Bedford; grandparents, Donald E. “Nick” Phillips of French Lick and Patsy Beasley of Sumrall, Mississippi; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins
His mother and grandparents, Jerry Simmons, Elmo “Moe” and Alta Lockhart preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen.
