Jo Ann always took time to talk with me whenever we ran into each other. She was a kind lady and a positive influence in my youth at Jacob Finger United Methodist Church.

To JoAnns family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked for Dick and JoAnn in the early 80's washing Dicks tractor and the tractors of Carpenter Body Works. I had been laid off from Carpenters and they basically saved me when they gave me that job. She even felt i was good enough to clean her car also. I thank both of them for being such WONDERFUL & KIND people. God just doesn't have people like them on this earth anymore. Prayers to each of you. God has two special people together with him in heaven.

My mom (Johnie Shelton VanHoy- now deceased) and I used to rent their house on 2nd and Kelly, Richard and I were very close friends, when he passed away I stayed close to Dick and Joann for awhile but it was really hard on them and then they moved out of Bedford and I lost contact with them. A couple of months ago they were both on my mind (I had not known that Dick passed away and I have been trying to find Joann) this breaks my heart but now the family is all back together again in heaven. I loved this whole family and I am sending prayers to the grandchildren. Misty Grow
