I was privileged with the honor of staying with John in his last days. He was always in good spirits, never grouchy or unkind. He never ask for extra duties and he never complained. All the kids where so grateful that I could help out but I am so grateful that God's plan was for me to be able to finally truly help someone. And John was so grateful, I never delivered a meal, or medicine or drink of water that he didn't say thank you. He was a good man who loved his children, he was a happy man and all his children where there to say good bye. I will miss you John, it was a honor to care for you. And a gift seeing the love you have for your family and the love they have for you.

Johnny was such a sweet soul... We use to go see the family when we were really young played till dark! Then as time passed and life happened, all of us grew up, married had children of our own. But after all of the years when we reconnected when I came to see him gathering information for our family history book it was almost as if we were kids again, and didn't live so far apart. I'm really gonna miss you Cuz', till we meet again.

Just thinking of all the wonderful memories you have with your parents. The memories say a lot about the legacy they left with their children, their spouses, grandchildren & I am sure siblings, Then to top that your dad served his country with honor. Share your memories& cherish them deeply. You all have big shoes to fill to pass all the beautiful, funny & probably even some aggravating stories to tell to keep the legacy going. You were all loved a lot & what a blessing that has to be. My thoughts, prayers & much love. ♥✝🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
