Jet, words are hard to find at times like these, but please know that you are loved, and are being lifted up in prayers. John can say like Paul, "I have fought a good fight, and have kept the faith, and now there is a crown laid up for me in heaven." John is in the hands of a just God, and will one day receive that crown. God bless.

John, you are a precious memory of my growing up at First Baptist Church. You & Jetta & your family have always had a very special place in my heart. There are so many hymns that were sung in that sanctuary, where I can still close my eyes & hear you & see your sweet smile. I pray for comfort for Jetta & a sense of peace that you are no longer in pain, but made new as you greeted Jesus. Anyone who knew you, knew that was your ultimate goal. My heart breaks for Scott & Amy, the kids, & all who knew & loved you. You're forever etched in our hearts...and I'm so thankful you were part of the "team" that led me to Jesus. Rest in the Sweetest Peace. With much love from the Burton family. <3

I have known Jetta and John my whole life, and I am honored to have been their flower girl so many years ago. I still have the dress my Mom made for their special day. I have so many happy memories of them, Scott, Amy, and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our sincere condolences to them and other Mitchell relatives (Mark and Marci) and friends, and many thanks to those who have been supportive of Jetta and family during this difficult time.
