ORLEANS – Kathleen Marie Blanton, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at her residence.

Born July 3, 1950, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Eugene and Anah Mae (Turner) Briscoe.  Kathleen married Charles “Chuck” Bailey Blanton on February 7, 1969 and he preceded her in death September 14, 2020.

Surviving are her children, Maryanah “Tooter” (Jim) Mosier of Orleans and Kate Blanton of Lanesville; grandchildren, Cole (Victoria) Gray of French Lick, Bailey (J.D.) Hopkins of Shoals, Wyatt Campbell of Liberty, and Wil Tolbert of Mitchell; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Dennis Briscoe of Borden, Howdy Briscoe of Mitchell, Becky Briscoe of Orleans, and Tim (Jamie) Briscoe of Mitchell.         

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Cremation has been chosen.
