BLOOMINGTON L. Carol Jack, 50, Bloomington, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009, at her residence.

Born November 19, 1958, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Robert Wayne and Wanda Lou (Terry) Edwards. She was first married to Bradley D. Powell and later married to Dave W. Jack.

She was a code inspector for the Housing and Neighborhood Development for the City of Bloomington.

Carol graduated from Mitchell High School in 1977 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mitchell. She was a lifelong fan of fishing and auto racing.

Her father; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Claribelle (Mundy) Terry; and paternal grandfather, Robert E. Edwards, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at Tulip Street Christian Church in Mitchell with Brother Max Timbrook officiating. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service.

Cremation was chosen.
