HURON Lenuel Dean Stancombe, 53, Huron, passed away Wednesday morning, July 7, 2010, at his residence.

Born May 5, 1957 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Lenuel “Bud” and Betsy H. (Jones) Stancombe. He married Marlene Sue King October 17, 1975.

He was employed at French Lick Springs Hotel and was a member of the Huron Baptist Church. Lenuel was a regional director for Lawrence County ABATE, and president and founder of the Elvis Steam Rollers Club.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 10, in the Huron Baptist Church with Pastors Ron Allender and Frank Ira officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the church.
