MITCHELL – Leonard Ray Bex, 98, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at Mitchell Manor.

Born May 10, 1921, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Isom and Della (Ray) Bex.  He married Alta Jeraldine “Jerry” Miller July 29, 1943, and she preceded him in death October 7, 2009.

Leonard retired from Carpenter Body Works and was a farmer.  He was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ.

His parents; wife; and siblings, Nellie Johnson, Mahala Edwards, Bessie Callahan, Roseann Wininger, Flossie Williams, Asa Bex, Archie Bex, Chester Bex, Elmer Bex, Ira Bex, and Helen Bex, preceded him in death

Graveside service will be Tuesday, May 12, at Port William Cemetery with Brother Richard Holt officiating.
