MITCHELL — Leone Grimes, 86, Mitchell, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010, at her residence.
Born February 14, 1924, in Albany, she was the daughter of Roy and Lela (Barnes) Fannin. She was married to William Graves and he preceded her in death March 18, 1996. Her second marriage was to Frank Grimes January 10, 1997.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Mitchell Wesleyan Church, BYF, and the Missionary Society. Leone graduated from Albany High School.

Her parents; first husband; sisters, Jean Silvie and Philis Zigler; and brother, Edwin Fannin, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 1, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Jones and Rev. Wes McCallum officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
