MITCHELL Loretta L. Arnold, 78, Mitchell, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center. God called another angel home today. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.
Born March 22, 1933, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of John and Blanche (Enochs) Hall. She married Jackie Lee Arnold February 14, 1953. Together they raised five children.
She had been employed at Trav-Lers, Essex, Spring Mill Inn, and Mitchell Icecream Shop. She enjoyed bingo, sewing, and just visiting with family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Her parents; sons, Timothy Arnold and Joey Arnold; brothers, Bob Hall and Lloyd Hall; and a grandson preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Brother Jim Russell officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
