CAMPBELLSBURG – Louis D. Hamilton, 77, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Mitchell Manor.
Born April 19, 1945, in Washington County, he was the son of Joseph Dale and Edith (Compton) Hamilton.
Louis graduated from Campbellsburg High School and Indiana State University with a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. He taught Jr. High math at West Washington School until retirement. He later went to work for Kimball International in Salem. Louis was a member of Campbellsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Karen Butler (Richard) of Grainger, Indiana; brother, Loren Hamilton (Nancy) of Mitchell; Niece, Michelle Weddle (Brian) of Martinsville; Nephew, Joshua Hamilton (Heather) of Hazel Green, Alabama; Grand Nephews, Declan Hamilton and Colton Partain of Hazel Green, Alabama.
His parents preceded him in death.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 2nd at Saltillo Cemetery with Reverend Reggie Clark officiating. Burial will follow.
