BLOOMINGTON – Margaret J. Mathews Patton, 83, Bloomington and formerly of Mitchell, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005, at Hospitality House of Bloomington.
Born October 23, 1921, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Harry L. and Mary (Lewis) Mathews. She married Tom Patton and he preceded her in death in 1959.
She was a secretary and sales clerk for many years at the King”s Shop. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1940 and was a graduate of Stepens College. She was a member of Tri Kappa and St. Mark”s United Methodist Church.

granddaughters, Natalie Puchalski and Valerie Patton
several nieces and nephews
Her parents; husband; and brother, Robert Lewis Mathews, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 12 o”clock noon, Wednesday, September 28, at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Pastor Margaret Pruden officiating.
