MITCHELL – Marjorie H. Elmore, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born October 4, 1931, in Walton, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry Edmund and Ida H. (Pierce) Larimer Armstrong.  She married Kenneth E. Elmore November 21, 1948, and he preceded her in death May 21, 1994.

Marjorie had been employed as a bookkeeper at Leath Furniture and Cabot Corporation in Kokomo.  She was a member of the Mitchell Wesleyan Church and Bedford Medical Center Auxiliary.

Her parents; husband; brothers, James Larimer and Frederick Armstrong; and sisters, Naomi Cox and Jean Anderson, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 31, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Steve Jones officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
