 MITCHELL – Marsha Ann Guthrie, 79, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.

Born October 24, 1939, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Don C. and Rosa Deloris (Sego) Trueblood. She married Joe Ike Guthrie December 16, 1960, and he preceded her in death April 16, 1990.

Marsha had been employed at Dunn Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Mitchell Presbyterian Church and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1958.  Marsha was a member of the Martin County Happy Homemakers and enjoyed arts, crafts, crocheting, and ceramics.  She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her father and mother, Rosa Deloris Lincoln; stepfather, Don Lincoln; husband; son, Charles Bryan Guthrie; and siblings, Leanne Horsley, Larry Trueblood, and Charles David Trueblood,  preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.  Burial will be at a later date in Lawrenceport Cemetery.

    So sorry to hear of Marsha's passing. Grew up together in Mitchell. We lived next to Bill on 9th st. back in the 60's. Don and I were friends growing up. I hoped to see Don, but I don't guess you made it up. Hope you're doing well. God bless.
