MITCHELL Martha Ellen Knight, 78, 105 East Grissom Avenue, Mitchell, passed away at 10:44 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at her daughter’s residence.
Born February 22, 1930 in Chrisman, Illinois, she was the daughter of Frank and Zora Alice (Tolbert) Batchelor. Her first marriage was to Ezra Edward Dotson and later was married to Virgil Raymond Knight.
She was a homemaker and a caregiver for forty years.

Her parents; son, Ricky Neil Dotson; brothers, Frank Batchelor, Jr., Jack Lee Batchelor; and sisters, Alice Irene Brown, Helen Ilene Batchelor, and Linda Sue Wigley; and a grandson preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation.
Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, in Bonds Chapel Cemetery.
