MITCHELL – Martha Maxine Edwards, 80, formerly of Huron, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Sunday, November 19, 2006, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Lawrence County January 30, 1926. She married George W. Edwards March 5, 1946, and he preceded her in death in 1974.
She was a homemaker and attended the Church of Jesus Christ.

Her mother, Frances “Mae” Day, and husband preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeal Home with Pastor Steve Epley officiating. Burial will be in Huron Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
