MITCHELL Mary D. Ely, 81, Mitchell, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010, at her residence.
Born July 2, 1929, in Sevierville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Matt and Betty (Shepherd) Donaldson.
She had been employed at NAD Crane and was a member of the Mitchell Senior Citizens.

Her parents; grandson, Harold Douglas Ely; great granddaughter, Anna Fish; and companion, Raymond Chastain, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
