MITCHELL Mary Frances Ball, 89, Mitchell, passed away at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at her residence.

Born May 8, 1922, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Lester and Della (Sanders) Sloan. She married James Emil Ball and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1940. She and her husband both graduated from Central Business College in Indianapolis, and met while traveling to Mitchell on the weekends. They worked at Allisons and lived in Indianapolis for several years. They resided in Mitchell for over 60 years, operating a car business for 40 years. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

A private family graveside service will be on Tuesday at Mitchell Cemetery.
