BEDFORD – Mary Frances Jenkins, 88, Bedford, passed away at 11:12 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2007, at StoneBridge Health Campus, Bedford.

Born January 31, 1919, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Glen A. and Beulah (Pendergrass) Hardman. She married William M. Jenkins December 30, 1938, and he preceded her in death June 8, 2001.

She was office manager at Jenkins Motor Shop. She was a 1937 graduate of Mitchell High School, a member of the Mitchell Presbyterian Church, and a former member of Gamma Epsilon chapter of Tri Kappa.

great grandchildren,
Blake Jenkins, Cameron Baker, Carson Baker, Brock Jenkins, Hailey Jenkins, and Austin Jenkins.

Her parents; husband; brothers, Harold, Leo, Fred, Russell, John, and Kenneth Hardman; sister, Freda Wright; and son-in-law, Gary Baker, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor C. Allen Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
