MITCHELL Maxine L. Mundy, 78, Mitchell, passed away at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born September 6, 1929, in LaCrosse she was the daughter of Waldo H. and Ruth E. (Spry) Witmer. She married Robert Eugene Mundy October 12, 1947.
She graduated from Orleans High School in 1947 and was a retired medical assistant for Dr. Schoolfield, Dr. Woolery, and Dr. Dino. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Bedford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.

Her parents; brother, Clarence Paul Witmer; infant sister, Ethel Mae Witmer; son-in-law, Tony Mann; and great granddaughter, Addison Lynn Ralph, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 18, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Neuman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Orleans.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 1:30 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the church.
