Most know that I had 5 brothers now 4 ( 3 big brothers and one younger) brothers are great most of the time. Melvin taught me to ride my bike, took me for rides in his old car and on the milk route usually ending with a stop at punkin center for a coke and ice cream. Taught me to play basketball, we all enjoyed watching Jack. Melvin & Marvin playing basketball for Paoli Ramblers. We worked hard on the farm milking, feeding & putting up hay and other crops. But we also played hard playing basketball at home on the dirt court, sledding in the wintertime. I will miss you brother -- rest till we meet again.

To Melvin's family, Although you may not remember me, my name is Chuck Cooper. I live in Pioneer Trails Drive. I used to stop and visit Melvin on his front porch. We talked about many subjects, Church, his paintings, his woodwork. He loved to tell me all about his dulcimer's and how he made them, the wood he used and who he sold some of them to. He was a wonderful man living a wonderful life. I feel that Jesus was waiting for him at the gates of heaven. So very, very sorry for your loss.
