MITCHELL – Misty Dawn Reed, 47, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born December 9, 1973, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Burl Shane and Kathy (Kern) Reed.

Misty was a teacher at Head Start and attended RuffCut Ministries.  She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, and reading the bible.

Her father and her maternal and paternal grandparents, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Mitchell Cemetery with Evangelist Jason Riggle officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
