MITCHELL – Nina Lynette Parsley, 72, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at her residence.

Born March 18, 1951, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Floyd Jr. and Rosemary (Kemple) Terrell.

Nina was a 1969 graduate of Mitchell High School.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting.  Nina loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Russell (Tracy) Harden, Jr. of Salem and Lonzo Franklin Smith II of Campbellsburg; grandchildren, Ashley Woods, Jesse Harden, Lacey Smith, Skyler Smith, Mariah Smith, Alyssa Smith, Lonzo Smith III, Dakotah Smith, Lyndon Smith, Xavier Sons, and Kayne Smith; great-grandchildren, Brinley, Tate, Xander, Emma, Kloey, Keegan, Zayla, Alliah, Bella, Emery, and Lilly; brother, Danny Terrell of Mitchell; and fiancé, Robert Brown of Mitchell.

Her parents; son, Kristen Kayne Smith; and siblings, Twila England and Teresa Edwards, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with her brother, Danny Terrell, officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

    Sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a wonderful woman. She went through so much with all the surgery she went through. She was a good Mom she lived her child. She is with Twila Rosie and Peck now Anita Holt Browne ( Mary and Menlo Holt daughter)
