ELLETTSVILLE Pauline E. Brown, 89, Ellettsville, formerly of Mitchell, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Richland- Bean Blossom Health Care of Ellettsville.

Born August 6, 1916, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Cooper) Wedgewood. She married Stanley R. Brick Brown April 16, 1937, and he preceded her in death in 1984.

She was a homemaker and had been employed at Reliance Manufacturing, M. Fine & Son, and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Mitchell, Lawrence County Homemakers, and Dixie Club.

Surviving: daughter, Brenda Owen and husband, Claude, Ellettsville
son, Larry Brown and wife, Patty, Seymour
sister, Wilma Mayden, Jeffersonville
7 grandchildren
12 great grandchildren

Her parents; husband; son, Stanley E. Brown; daughter, Joyce Ann Brown; sister, Mary Hawks; and brothers, Gene and Rayburn Wedgewood, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Brother Bud Smith officiating. Burial will be in Knott Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
