LAWRENCEPORT Pauline (Earl) Dorsett, 80, Lawrenceport, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born April 30, 1931, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Paul and Minnie (Box) Earl. She married William R. “Buss” Dorsett August 31, 1957, and he preceded her in death May 15, 1995.

She was a beautician and had been employed in food service at Bedford Regional
Medical Center and Dunn Memorial Hospital.

In early life she was a member of White River Baptist Church and later affiliated with the Mitchell Presbyterian Church. Pauline was a member of Order of Eastern Star No. 352.

Surviving: daughters,
Paula D’Ann Taylor and husband, Ray, Indianapolis
Pamela D’Ann Dorsett, Lawrenceport

Her parents; husband; and brother, Frank Earl, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Brown officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Order of Eastern Star rites will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

    I am so sorry I can't be there today,I am home sick, but I want you girls to know I am thinking about you and have been for the last several days.And although we are heartbroken by her passing, Bus and Dad and Grandma and Gram paw are having the happiest reunion ever.And one day we will be with them too.I am filled with so many memories, the holidays, the overnights at grandmas, the haircuts Pauline gave me,(Mom always mad sure she cut it short), berry picking, so many good memories, she was a wonderful Aunt, and I am missing her.Be Strong and know if you ever need any thing I am just a phone call away.
