HURONPauline E. Tackett, 90, Huron, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 9, 1918, in Orange County, she was the daughter of John D. and Amanda E. (Jones) Toliver. She married Menlo Tackett March 37, 1937, and he preceded her in death July 23, 1987.
She had been employed at Trav-Ler Radio Corporation and retired from Stone City Products. Pauline graduated from West Baden High School, and was a member of the Huron Baptist Church and the WTK Club.

Her parents; husband; son, John F. Tackett; sisters, Lucille Tandy and Maggie Albright; brothers, Rex, Roy, and infant Kenneth Toliver; and a granddaughter preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Huron Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
