MITCHELL Peggy Rosalee Gilbert, 72, Mitchell, passed away at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at her residence.
Born January 27, 1937, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Edgar E. and Bertha (VanMeter) Robinson. She married Donald E. Gilbert October 12, 1952, and he preceded her in death September 23, 1996.
She had previously been employed at Dunn Memorial Hospital and Spring Mill Inn, and was a member of the First Christian Church.

Her parents; husband; and sister, Betty Jean Robinson, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
