MITCHELL –  Philip Daniel Asbury, 67, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at his residence.

Born November 22, 1951, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Jessie and Milinda (Embree) Asbury. He married Sandra S. Taylor April 7, 2005.

Philip retired from Dana Corporation and loved fishing, coon hunting,  and enjoyed his family and friends. He was a U. S. Army veteran.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at Knott Cemetery with Pastor Paul Hare officiating.  Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
