BEDFORD– Ralph William Terry, 78, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born August 20, 1940, in Mitchell, he was the son of Elmer Thomas and Edith May (King) Terry. He married Virginia Mae Elliott June 15, 1962, and she preceded him in death February 23, 2000. He and Shirley Kathleen Swartz were married December 8, 2000.
Ralph retired from Otis Elevator and was a member of Fishing Creek Chapel. He loved fishing, antiques, and Spring Mill State Park.

His parents; wife, Virginia Terry; and siblings, Susie Taylor, Jack Terry, Jim Terry, Mary Anne Terry, and Robert Terry, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Kyle Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m .until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
