ORLEANS – Rachel Charlene Garrison, 78, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at her residence.
Born July 6, 1936, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charley and Edna (Brown) Cook. She married Marvin Joe Garrison June 28, 1958.
Rachel was a homemaker and had been an Avon sales lady for 25 years. She was an active and strong Christian member of the Mitchell Wesleyan Church for over 50 years. She graduated from Tunnelton High School in 1954.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, at the Mitchell Wesleyan Church with Reverend Steve Jones officiating. Burial will be in Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the church.
