ORLEANS – Rayburn Lee Bush, 64, formerly of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.

Born July 27, 1954, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Charles C. and Naomi R. (Stewart) Bush. He married Jan Antionette “Toni” Fleetwood July 17, 1993, and she preceded him in death January 17, 2013.

Rayburn had been employed at Lawrence County Equipment.  He was a member of Lawrence County ABATE and Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club.  Rayburn loved riding motorcycles, camping, racing, singing and playing the guitar, and spending time with family and friends.

Rayburn served in the Indiana National Guard and was a Rifle M-16 sharp shooter and a grenade expert.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Frank Ira officiating.  Cremation will follow. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
