BEDFORD – Reba Ray Barlow, 97, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013, at Garden Villa in Bedford.

Born February 26, 1916, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Clarence and Birdie (Johnson) Ritchison. She married Ralph Ray August 1, 1934, and he preceded her in death June 11, 1975. Her second marriage was to Dale L. Barlow September 14, 1985, and he preceded her in death June 5, 1991.

Reba had been employed at Trav-Ler Radio Corporation, Spring Mill, and Crane. She graduated from Huron High School in 1933, and was a member of Fairview Church of Christ.

Surviving: son, Ed (Ann) Ray, Bedford
grandson, Kyle (Kim) Ray, Bedford
great grandsons, Caleb and Eli Ray

Her parents; husbands; brothers, Ralph Ritchison and Roy Ritchison; and sisters, Margaret Edwards and Louise Moore, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Richard Holt and Brother Anthony Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Bryantsville Church of Christ Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:00 –7:00 p.m. Tuesday, and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

    I knew her at Eva's Beauty Shop and she always was such a nice lady. It was so nice to know someone so special. She will be missed by all!!!
