MITCHELL – Rebecca Ann Collins Osborne, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born February 8, 1971, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Harrison and Pamela (Connell) Collins.
Rebecca was a hair stylist for 38 years and started arranging flowers 32 years ago at the age of 16. She turned into one of the best florists in town. Rebecca worked at the Mitchell Post Office for several years until she was injured in an accident. She then returned to being a hair stylist and florist, and even worked at Flower Cottage when they needed help.
She was talented in most everything. She made greeting cards, loved to draw, made beautiful floral arrangements, and was an excellent hair stylist. Rebecca also loved to travel. She had been to California, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, New York City, Mexico, and Florida. She loved clothes, shoes, and especially her purses and jewelry. Rebecca loved her family, and Mackenzie always came first; the rest of the family a little behind. She was always ready to help anyone in need.
