MITCHELL – Rhea Dawn Lewis, 65, passed away July 9, 2022, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
Born October 23, 1956 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of John M. Tuddy and Mildred Jane (Robinson) Tuddy. She had been married to David Lewis and remained best friends.
Rhea had worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and Little Caesars Pizza in Bedford as a manager. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her children, Rhett D. Lewis (Lisa) of Bloomington and Talia Blake of Bedford; grandchildren, Jade Wessell, Samara Wessell, and Drew Garrison; siblings, John L. Tuddy (Donna) of Freedom, Rita Lewis of Bedford, and Steve J. Tuddy of Indianapolis; and the father of her children and friend, David Lewis.
Her parents; grandson Riat Lewis; siblings Janet Robinson, Diane Robinson, Karen Turner and Ronnie L. Tuddy preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 12, 2022, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
