Roy and I were close friends in Brownstown schools and beyond. He was a great guy...sensitive, fun, intelligent and giving to others. Will never forget his extensive record collection and the hours we spent listening and discussing. God be with you Roy. Ron Scott

Liz, I am also Betty Bowling's daughter and truly enjoyed the time we spent with your Uncle Roy. My husband is retired military and he and Roy had many entertaining stories to share. Roy had seen much of the world and was a wonderful storyteller/historian of his experiences. He was such a nice person that I'm sure he will be greatly missed. Beverly Parker

Liz, I am Betty Bowling's daughter and had the great pleasure of spending time with your Uncle Roy. We enjoyed having him be part of our family and he was so very good to my Mother. He loved his family very much and was so grateful to have you so close by. My mother speaks of him often and the good times they shared. He will be missed. Vicki Kelsey
