We both worked with Rick in the Maint BN. Jackie was in the guard with Rick back in the late 1970's at the Bedford unit Co C 738 Maint BN. He was a great person to work with always looking out for his soldiers.

Thank you guys for such great words. He was most definitely a man of honor. A living definition of integrity. And sadly that is a dying breed. My whole adult life I’ve tried to figure out how to be a half. The man he was cuz i knew that is more than most and only one person ever fit his shoes. As I’ve raised two boys of my own I’ve learned how wrong I was when I was younger and just how good of a dad I was fortunate to have. This is a man that affected every life he encountered and will be missed by those same lives. I’ve always been proud to say he’s my dad but never realized every one doesn’t have that. Again thank you guys for such great words. Rest easy dad. That was one hell of a fight. I love ya!

I can't imagine a world with out my cousins. Rick was a man of Honor and would help when ever possible. That was who he was. Rick and his brother Charles would come help my mother and I when I couldn't do things by myself. A wonderful Man has gone home.Amen
