MITCHELL Roy M. Holt, 63, Mitchell, passed away at 8:42 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at his residence.
Born September 19, 1947, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Ernest D. and Oma Mae (Parish) Holt. He married Belinda Williams September 28, 1978.
He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietman War.
Roy had been employed in the heating and cooling business and was also a roofer. He was a member of the Mitchell Pentecostal Church.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Speer and Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
