ORLEANSRuby Fern Toliver, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at her residence.

Born January 3, 1930, in Bono Township, she was the daughter of George Warren and Ethel (McIntire) Holsapple.  She married Larry Dale Toliver July 2, 1950, and he preceded her in death November 3, 2009.

Ruby had been employed at Trav-Ler Radio Corporation and was a member of Fishing Creek Chapel.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May17, at Talbott Cemetery with Pastor Robert Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

    She was the sweetest lady. I had only met her a few times when I was with Joe. But she always had away of making you feel welcomed. She will be a very missed lady

    The smile on her face every time the kids and I walked through the door. Best memory I will ever carry. I’m glad I got to see her before she went home. I just wished I knew it would have been the last time.
