BEDFORD Ruth Elizabeth Hash, 92, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born April 2, 1928, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Earl Vernon and Nancy Elizabeth (Turpin) Pemberton.  She married James Vaughn Hash November 23, 1979, and he preceded her in death in 1999.

Ruth retired with 20 years of service from RCA.  She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly.  Ruth loved going to Mitchell Senior Citizens and she had many friends.

Her parents; husband; grandson, Troy Alan Nicholson; and siblings, Winfred James Pemberton and Lois Evelyn Keeling, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Kenneth Allen officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
