MITCHELL – Sandra Kay “Sandy” Shoopman, 48, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at her residence.

Born March 18, 1965, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Robert Junior “Bud” and Patricia Joan (Watson) George.  She married William L. Shoopman November 26, 1988.

Sandy had been employed at Mitchell Manor and Dairy Queen.  She enjoyed cooking and was a member of the Iron Order M. C. 357 Crew as a maiden.

Surviving:     husband, William L. Shoopman, Mitchell
                  daughters, Kara Dawn  Melton Jenkins and husband,
                                  Stephen, Clarksville, Tennessee
                                  Krystal Renee Chapman and husband, J.
                                  R., Mitchell
           grandchildren, William Scott Jenkins, Aubrey  Renee  Martin, and Olivia
                                 
Raine Chapman
                        sister, Tammie Jo Bennett, Bedford
 
                   brother, Robert Anthony George, Mitchell

 Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Haverly Funeral Chapel & Cremation.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Cremation was chosen.

    I wonder what the cause of her death was. Anyway, I know that she will be missed by the people she happened to warmly touch and influence. I believe though that she is happy to be with God in Heaven right now to start her journey of eternal life.

    Bub & family - We had the pleasure of eating her Baked Hamburgers and they were great. Mine did not taste as good as hers. She was a good cook. She will be missed in many ways!!
