MITCHELL — Tommy D. Cornwell, 70, Mitchell, passed away at 12:39 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford.
Born March 14, 1939, in Kentucky, he was the adoptive son of Delmont and Eula (Hardman) Cornwell. He married Mary E. Morgan August 31, 1973.
He worked in sales and was a driver for Crawford-Morris Lumber Company for 30+ years. Tommy was a member of the Bride of Christ Fellowship.

His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Allen officiating. Burial will be in Stampers Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
