MITCHELL Vernon L. Moody, Jr., 67, passed away at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at his residence.
Born March 26, 1944, in East St. Louis, Illinois, he was the son of Vernon Leland and Thelma E. (Lester) Moody, Sr.
He was a truck driver and a member of Avoca Baptist Church.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, at Mitchell Cemetery with Bro. Doug Martin officiating.
