MITCHELL Wilma Murray Simpson Case, 97, Mitchell, passed away at 5:37 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitaton Center.
Born November 22, 1913, in Bono Township, she was the daughter of Homer and Rosa N. (Smith) Murray. Her first marriage was to Clifford Simpson and she then married Clifford N. Case July 20, 1946, and he preceded her in death March 20, 1965.
She had been employed as a floor lady at Reliance Manufacturing 20 years and retired as a medical assistant from Edgewood Clinic with 27 years of service.
Wilma had been a member 68 years of the First Christian Church. She also belonged to the Dorcas Circle, Spring Mill Homemakers Club, Order of Eastern Star No. 503, Phi Beta Psi Associate Chapter, Senior Citizens, Dixie Club, Bedford Medical Center Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors, and Fleur-de-Lis. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1932.

Her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Margaret E. (Wigley) Simpson; granddaughter, Elaine Garrett; great grandson, Sascha Simpson; and brother, Roscoe Murray, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Brumfield officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
